MoSCoW Method

Overview

MoSCoW prioritization is a hierarchy framework used to rank items in order of importance. It means: Must-haves, Should-haves, Could-haves, and Will-not-haves.

Must-haves are non-negotiable requirements vital to the success of your project.
Should-haves add significant value, but when excluded, the project can still function.
Could-haves do not have significant value, and should only be worked on when additional time remains.
Finally, Will-not-haves (or Wishes) should not be implemented at all to keep the project scope focused.

MoSCoW and RICE are both popular prioritization methods.
