Overview

Jon Lax, Director of Product Design at Facebook, believes great products don’t happen by accident — they require an architecture to respond to dynamic environmental changes and facilitate coordination.

To do this, create product playbooks — an established set of plays to develop a bias towards action. At its best, this is a document that provides shared language for process.

Do you need to do a… design sprint? further user behavior tests? prioritization, planning, or goal-setting?

For every step of the product process, you can develop ‘plays’ to run that will solve the situation at hand.
